On Campus Lab 4/Online Lab 3: Modeling Control Systems with MATLAB/Simulink-Position Control with Disturbances
This collection of videos supports the use of MATLAB/Simulink software for lab 4/3. This lab shows how to construct and simulate a position controller using Simulink. It shows how the type of controller can affect the response of a system's output. It also shows how adding negative feedback to a system reduces the impact of outside distrubances on the desired output. These videos show how to construct more complex input signals by combining ramp and step inputs with positive and negative inputs that are delayed in time.
