On-Campus-Lab 3/Online Lab 2: Introduction to Control Systems Modelling Using MatLAB/Simulink
This collection of presentations takes viewers through use of MatLAB/Simulink control systems simulation software. These four presentations introduce the Simulinks features of MatLAB. Simulink software allows control systems designers to create block diagram models and compute the time response of the system without a great deal of hand calculations. Part one of the presentations tours the viewer through the Simulink interface and shows how to place blocks into the software. Part two shows how to make interconnection, set the simulation parameters and view the results. Part three demonstrates how to test the frequency response of a control system and view multiple inputs on the simulated scopes. Part four shows how to create and analyze a feedback system using Simulink.
