Experiment 6: Introduction to Connected Components Workbench and RSlogix Software
This video collection shows how to use the basic functions of the Connected Components Workbench (CCW) software by Allen Bradley. This software can program the Mirco800 series PLCs along with touchscreens and ac variable speed drives. Version 12 of the software is available for download from here. This version of the program includes a PLC code simulator for checking PLC programs without hardware. This software can create ladder logic programs, function block programs, and structured text programs. Other resources are availabe for download from this link. All videos were produced using Version 8 of the the program which can be downloaded from here. This lab activity will focus on creating and running simple ladder logic programs on the Connected Components 850 PLC.
