Experiment 2: Programming Structures in LabVIEW
This collection of videos demostrates how to simulate a comparator with hysteresis using two circuit simulators-CircuitMaker and Multisim. The student version of CircuitMaker is accessed here. Download it and install if you wish to use it for this lab. The videos show how to construct the comparator circuit and simulate its operation using a transient analog simulation. The simulation uses a triangle wave to detect the locations of both the upper and lower trip points. The video collection also includes a tutorial on the use of the cluster data structure. This lab requires a LabVIEW program template that is available from here. Download this program for use in the lab activity.
